International Women's Day 2022
To celebrate International Women's Day 2022 on the 8th March, some of the women from the Grant McGregor Team got together out of work to catch up, enjoy some food and just generally celebrate each other - and all women!
Although we have come a long way in some respects, work still needs to be done in achieving equality. Particularly for women of colour, in poverty and LGBTQ+, and especially in some countries, industries, and sectors.
The gender gap in the IT industry is no secret(1). But here at Grant McGregor we're striving to help close the gap, and believe anyone can work in tech if they want to!
For us, International Women's Day is about supporting, championing, and celebrating women all over the world whether they’re entrepreneurs, brave activists, pioneers in their field, famous actors, your colleagues, or the family and friends who inspire you every day - and that's what makes it so important.
We're proud of the women who help make Team GRMC what it is and celebrate them on IWD and every day.
